JOB TITLE: Key Account Development Director
REPORTING TO: Head of Field Sales (South)
LOCATION: Central London
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
HomeLet has very ambitious plans to increase its customer base in 2011 and the main purpose of this exciting role is to win and open new HomeLet accounts through Letting agents and brokers in a given area. To create and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and head office and to actively source new business opportunities within a given area and introduce HomeLet and all it’s associated product range.
To ensure activity is concentrated and focuses on agent acquisition and relevant training and implementation needs.
Summary of Role & Responsibilities:
• To grow customers and revenues to HomeLet.
• To create and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and Head office
• To achieve identified sales targets consistently and all other associated products
• Ensure the new accounts are fully trained on HomeLet products and services
• Build and maintain good working relationships with Head Office and work in tandem to provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients until full integration into head office
• Support team members as required
• Act with professionalism and Integrity at all times
• Travel to team meeting throughout the UK as and when required
• Through sales of products & services within the UK residential lettings market, ensuring uptake of available or additional products to enable the long term retention of customers.
Sales Generation, including:
• Maximize revenue opportunities with existing customers within defined territories / customer groups, ensuring uptake of additional products.
• Develop an understanding of organizational and internal influence structures and processes within all identified Residential Lettings Agencies and brokers.
• Develop relationships from office manager level to director level in identified Residential Letting Agencies
• Ensure territory coverage to touch all opportunities on a scheduled basis
• Identify prospects where company’s services can be sold
• Leverage understanding and relationships to create sales opportunities of the HomeLet subscription packages
• Maintain accurate records, sales forecast and activity reports
• Reporting on all profiles of customers and activity on a weekly basis, and regular updating of the CRM system
• Maintain on line customer data records with all relevant information (CRM system).
• Accuracy of contracts signed including forwarding all documentation to Head office
• The ability to territory plan, effective prospecting and appointment making and organizational skills to achieve and deliver 12 appointments per week with potential new customers
Customer Service, including
• Ensure complete and thorough induction of new customers to the HomeLet service through training at Director and Staff and administration level
• Communicate effectively with internal & external customers
• Follow up of customer queries within 24 hours
• Create dependence of customers on the services and training provided by HomeLet
• Maintain solid customer relationships and provide outstanding customer service & understand the client's needs.
• Pro-actively assist agents that are low users of the service.
• Be passionate about HomeLet’s product range and approach to the property business and enjoy working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial web start up environment.
PERSON SPECIFICATION –
Education/Qualifications(or equivalent)

• A level grade C or equivalent including English language or literature.

• An accredited sales qualification

• A minimum of 5 years previous field sales experience
• Previous experience within a target driven field and office based environment
• Background of field sales
• Proven experience in delivering sales targets and working to stretching targets and deadlines
• A clear understanding of record keeping and the accuracy of CRM systems

• Previous Sales Experience –proven track record
• Knowledge of the Lettings industry
