JOB TITLE: Marketing Executive – Tenant’s Insurance
REPORTING TO: Head of Marketing
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Quite simply - to live, breath, eat and sleep Tenant’s Insurance
To develop and implement and a customer focused and comprehensive marketing plan which relates specifically to the sale of Tenant’s insurance.
This plan will directly support the company’s objective relating to both the delivery of new policy sales, and protecting our renewal book.
The position reports to the Head of Marketing but also involves close working with the Change Manager responsible for Tenant’s Insurance; and the Insurance Sales Manager.
KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales
• Responsible for ensuring HomeLet reaches its revenue and volume targets for the sale of Tenant’s insurance
• To suggest, design, implement and manage all direct marketing campaigns to ensure HomeLet’s sales targets are met
• Working with the Marketing Manager responsible for Agent Revenue, design and develop specific agent campaigns
• To continually review and appraise the competitive environment, including direct competitors and substitute products – particularly where a lack of knowledge could prevent us being able to achieve our sales potential
• To ensure every potential tenant lead which comes into contact with our business is fully exhausted for a sale, including completed references, web visitors, abandoned quotes and cancelled/lapsed policies
Communications
• Own the area of the communications plan which specifically relates to tenants, ensuring it is comprehensive in its scope, sophisticated in its approach and cost effective in its delivery
• Ensure all communications are delivered on time and within budget
• Assuming total and ultimate ownership of all tenant’s sales literature
• Assuming total and ultimate ownership of the tenant area of the HomeLet website
• Assuming total and ultimate ownership of the content and quality of all standard tenant letters
• Be responsible for ensuring that every piece of communication which is aimed at the sale, promotion or on-going operation of our Tenant’s Insurance is branded correctly, is accurate, and is of the highest possible quality whether this is produced within the marketing department or not
Operations
• To understand the processes relating to the acquisition, sale, renewal and cancellation of Tenant’s Insurance
Representing marketing
• To act as workstream leader for every project which affects Tenant’s Insurance
• To act professionally at all times
• To be responsible for ensuring everyone in our business adheres to the brand guidelines
• As an ambassador for the marketing department, it is your responsibility to ensure that every single task is completed to the best of your ability and is executed with 100% accuracy and pride
