What roles have you had at Barbon?

I joined as an Account Manager where I’m the main point of contact for our clients, handling queries related to their cover and guiding them through the renewal process.

What's the secret of your success?

I try to do my best within my job and if I’m not sure I ask. I think we are only human and cannot know everything and it’s important to remember this. I think always having a positive attitude to my work helps towards being successful. I also have a very good support network in the way of colleagues and my manager so this is also a key factor. Oh, and lots of coffee!!

Do you have a message to anybody thinking of applying here?

I would say that there is a steep learning curve but anyone that is looking to reap rewards from their hard work should apply. If you work hard for the company, it works hard for you in return.

What have been your best moments since joining Barbon?

There really are so many! Winning Employee of the Month was a real highlight.

Many a Christmas party, especially the karaoke night we had where we all made complete fools of ourselves!

Recently attending an important tender presentation was also a real highlight, which was very nerve-racking but really worthwhile!
