What's your role at Barbon?
I joined as a Claims Manager, but in the future I’m looking to progress in the company, and hopefully shadow a member of staff in the Broking Department to gain experience in that area of the business.
What's the secret of your success?
I think the secret of my success has been hard work, enthusiasm, and self motivation. I always look to learn new things, and never turn down a task or extra training.
Do you have a message to anybody thinking of applying here?
I would say that working for FARR/Barbon is a really good career investment as there is a great relaxed and mature atmosphere.
What have been your best moments since joining Barbon?
One of the best moments for me would be gaining a place on the BIG Management Training Programme which will help me to progress into management.
The first presentation I was involved with was for the biggest client we had tendered business to, which we thankfully managed to win. Another great moment was being put in charge of dealing with salvage for the Tenants Contents Scheme we recently launched.
